Knock, Knock, Its The Unfriendly. Chapter VI

CHAPTER SIX
FOREVER
Patricia woke up on Saturday morning stretching her arms, she thought she felt fine. She got excited remembering today was her school dinner night. She looked at her closet and got up to
get her dress out. She tried on her shoes and placed them by her reading table, she placed the dress on her chair and headed downstairs. “Mum, Good morning, Dad Good morning” she met her parents in the kitchen holding each other or something, Patricia giggled and covered her face, her parents both replied her and resumed their attention to each other. She went into the living room and found her brothers cleaning. She smiled and shook her head. “Good morning twins” she said to both of them, they both ignored her knowing she was about to tease them, “Look who won the sleeping match, showing us her teeth for a medal” Wale said, the three siblings laughed. There was no denying that Saturday mornings were always one of the best. Patricia loved the traditional family breakfast thing, the way everyone disobeyed the law of not eating with your mouth full. She loved to listen to her mother talk about who and who was getting some kind of punishment for bad behavior. She felt even more better when nobody talked about her Thursday incident. A good morning it was.
Alex had called her at mid afternoon to check on her, he wanted her home address so he could come get her but her dad had promised to get her to the school premises by himself. Alex could meet with her up there and he could get to see who was taking his daughter as his date. Alex had agreed and hung-up. Patricia watched the clock hourly waiting for the dressing time to lapse. She watched television most part of the day and help her mum make lunch. She watched the clock in the kitchen too.
At half past six she retired to her room to take a shower, she needed all the freshness she could get, “Nothing is stopping tonight” she thought to herself. Her mum came in later to dress her as she was applying her moisturizer. Mrs. Andrews had come in with her makeup set and gotten her daughter made up. She thought Patricia looked older and really beautiful, she was glad the doctor’s report on any pregnancy had been negative, she decided to pack up her daughters hair and form a wrap with it. She sighed when she was done with the makeover, she was proud of her self. “Look in the mirror” she told her daughter. Patricia leaped excitedly when she saw how beautiful she looked. Her mother handed her her dress and she put it on, it must had been a dress cut and made specially for her as it fitted her like a second
skin, Patricia kept beaming. Mrs. Andrews stepped back to look at her daughter with pride and handed her some simple jewelries. “There you go, my baby’s so beautiful, wait till everybody sees you in school” she said to her daughter. Patricia kept smiling “Thank you so much mum” she finally said. “Get your shoes let me go tell your dad you’re ready and get a camera, my daughter’s first date” she heard her mum say excitedly before she left her room. Patricia was left alone now, she looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. She knew she was beautiful and jaws would drop that evening.
Mrs. Andrews arrived downstairs at the dining table to tell her husband to get his camera ready, she told him he wouldn’t believed how his daughter was looking. On his way to get the camera he stopped to get the door when he heard a knock. He opened and smiled as he saw who it was but said nothing, few seconds later, his wife and two sons heard him say “Oh why, come in dear.”

Patricia had only waited five minutes and had gotten impatient, “What was keeping mum?” she thought to herself, the desk clock read twenty past seven o’clock. She wore her shoes and took her purse with her, she left her room and headed downstairs. “Mum, Mum!, Mummy!” she had started calling as soon as she left her room she was worried about spoiling her dad’s and siblings’ surprises. She gave up and headed to the living room. She stopped at the last stair hoping that someone sees her and jaw-drops but no one came, she rolled her eyes and stepped down holding her dress so she doesn’t trip. The living room was empty, so was in the dining area to the kitchen, she called “Mum! Dad! Dad! Deji! Wale!” she called out aloud but got no response, she headed upstairs again and checked every room. “Empty” she said to herself. She was back down stairs and took off her shoes, she wore a pair of flip-flops and walked outside, the cars were in the garage, she found no one. “Where did they all go? What’s going on? Is this some kind of a joke?” she said more to herself. A frown now crossed her face as she walked back into the house, there was a new chill to the house that she had ignored earlier. She stood at the entrance and opened her mouth in a voiceless scream. The blue eyed one sat on the edge of the stairs looking at her with concern. “I’m here now, now we would be together forever” he said with a beautiful smile.

Dear Man Please (Episode 2)

Dear Man Please (Part 2)

"Though I know some men are gonna not so like me so much after this post, but you see I wouldn't want to confuse who reads this because men don't like getting busted for anything, well- especially when you know or play the game better than they do, they get pissed at you, hate your guts and still like your fine butt though, I'm washing some dirty laundry out here people so don't read if its gonna burn your eyes"

Yemisi decided to bully me about my crush as soon as we got outside the library and we both laughed about it but were soon talking about something else before getting to the Tantalizer’s cafeteria to eat lunch, Yemisi who drooled over married men with money gave me the gist on the Saturday date she had lastweek, the date she had lent a dress of mine to go to, I had told her to keep it though because I was so big on not taking back stuffs I borrow to people and the dress was really nice on her as she was the curvy girl of all men’s speck,
she fell into almost all the category of what men like, I on the other side was the slim girl who wasn’t also not bad looking but limited to one or two speck of women men wanted and liked. She told me she went shopping too and presented me with a bag of gifts, she had gotten me two new dresses and a pair of beautiful shoes,  she new my size and taste and I was ecstatic about them, I knew for her to bet me these stuffs that she must had bought loads of stuffs for herself I wouldn’t want to say she was the stingy type but again I’m not even near being offended, she gave when she wanted to without feeling compelled to do so too. She told me about her bank transaction too and whatever happened the night that led to all that she was telling me at the cafeteria- I have my mouth zipped on that. I wasn’t even jealous though but just like the human that I was I wondered why I wasn’t the one who met the man she was so excitedly telling me about, I wondered I didn’t have her very appealing body “Maybe I would had been the one in her shoes by now.“ I thought, well can’t worry about that I waved it off my mind atleast I got 2 dresses and a pair of shoes just by lending something to a friend, ‘ That wasn’t so bad .” I thought. I smiled genuinely at her as she went on with the whole event of that day till she finally added “A friend of his wants to meet a friend of mine oh! He said he liked slim fine girls and I thought of you, would you like to meet him because he’s just as rich as well oh!” she said to me and I was indeed surprised and felt a sense of guilt for what I had been thinking previously and asked if she was sure this so called person would like me to the extent of being so crazy about me without me even trying to impress and she finally added that he had seen my picture and she even told him I was prettier in person than what he was drooling about in the picture and she needed my permission to give him my number, I smiled and asked if she was really serious about it and she said she was so I was like  “of-course, give him my number, hope he’s got some good money oh and he’s not the beer belly kind” because I was also choosy on the men of my choice and I know my dear Yemisi didn’t mind what you looked like but just as soon as she smells you bulky money your face magically transforms into handsome to her and that was all she knew, I wouldn’t want to end up with some bald headed fat belly man looking like 10 of  me, no way……no way……no way. We concluded that she would send my number to her new boyfriend or manfriend! So that he could give it to his friend and that I should expect his call pretty soon. We left the cafeteria to our hostel though different rooms and I was excited to try on my new wears.

The next week passed and I got no call from the so called Mister Man that I had been expecting, I gave up waiting once 1 week lapse and thought she must had had a whiff of my genuine envy when she was talking about her new catch and thought of telling me something to make me feel better, I shrugged at myself and picked up a romance novel I had been reading and decided to go take my bath instead cause I bet  I must’ve been stinking already, would feel so lazy to take my bath everytime I wasn’t having lectures or any reason to leave my hostel although I had a pending assignment to write but wasn’t ready to start with that, I pushed myself off the bed to frab my towel and all my necessary bathing stuffs and tools you would think I was planning on transforming in the bathroom when you see all I take to take my bath in the bathroom, I love taking care of myself though and smelling goo and believe me men were attracted to this, I always wanted to be fresh everytime I go out, it was already 5pm and I knew I would want to step out atleast just the sake of leaving my bed. I proceeded to undressing to wrap myself in my towel while eavesdropping to my room-mate who was lamenting about her boyfriend again to her friend I wasn’t in the mood to advice her this time around because I don’t why she’s still with the guy who makes her unhappy, I mean like except if she’s not a goat she’d keep going back to him and its not even like the so called BOY did anything tangible for her- he crowned everything all up by dating and deceiving other girls just like her but I guess the guy has some good talents if all these girls keep going back to him, I shook my head and picked up my toilet bag  laughing at my room-mate within me “poor girl”, my phone rang in time for me to leave the room and I almost didn’t want to go back and pick up the phone, “Lola “my room-mate was already calling my name as I almost stepped out of the room,  I told her I was going to pick it up anyway and I went for my phone, I stared at the strange number calling and wasn’t sure I wanted to pick up because I had been avoiding some people for  a while now and I had the habit of being  quick at deleting phone numbers off my phone which I usually blame myself for because I always end up picking up unwanted calls. I missed the first call and the second one came in before I could return the phone, I sighed and answered the call, I whispered hello to hear the voice of who was calling and it wasn’t whomever I must’ve been expecting so I relaxed, within a minute my caller was chatting me up and I was careful not to sound so convincing and then he finally introduced himself as Dele, he said he was a friend to Yemisi and has been dying to meet me (I rolled my eyes because it took him 1 whole week to prove this), he said he’s been so busy for while now and just thought of talking to me to ease himself and I giggled sweetly at this like I meant it, he said I was a realy beautiful girl with a lovely physique and would love to meet me in person, I giggled again and asked why he wanted to meet me, he said he wouldn’t want to miss the chance of a life time not to come across a beauty like mine and to tell you the truth I was indeed flattered at all the psyches he was throwing at me, he then said he would be coming to Ibadan which was were my university was located for some business meeting and also to get some pleasure as well and in response to this I sounded unsure about being available on that day and lied that I would be having classes and was onto finishing my assignment which had the deadline of that day after all I thought  “you had to wait till you come over here before you called me, what am I? A call girl or what? “  He laughed and said we could still see in the evening time as he would be busy during the, he also added that Yemisi told him that I was a shopaholic and he hopped I wouldn’t finish his money when he comes over, I faked a laugh even though I was smiling from ear to ear from hearing this and yes, he had passed the needed message and I picked it  clearly, I said I would let him know before then if I would be available which meant that if he didn’t keep tabs on me he wouldn’t be see me then, he gave me some more psyches and got me laughing genuinely because he was kind of funny, after some minutes of talking we ended the call with him promising to talk to me later but I wasn’t banking on this promise though. I dropped the phone and smiled to myself thinking about all the shopping and the money of this world, I picked up my phone again and checked him out on face book, he looked good enough if I was sure I was checking out the real person, I think he looked lika some billion dollars too. I dropped my phone and knew I was going to have a happy time in the bathroom ................to be continued.

The Truth About the Death Of Naomi. Episode II

EPISODE II

You say? ….okay, when should I come pick up your friend? …Alright no problem, at your hostel right? … okay, I’d be there , bye” Abdul hangs up the phone-call and concentrates fully on his driving, he makes his U-turn and drops his passengers off at the gate entrance, he gives change to one of them and decided he should probably go fill up his petrol tank but changes his mind as a passenger got into his car asking for a ‘drop’ somewhere outside the university gates, he hoped he could do this drop, buy the fuel needed and be in time to pick  up a friend of one of his favorite passengers at-least it pays better than queuing up and wasting time waiting for his turn to pick up passengers while hoping someone wants a drop somewhere. He was done later and had three minutes to spare as sister Mope had started calling already, he decided not to pick her calls but picked up the unknown number that called seconds after, the female caller introduced herself as Mope’s friend and that she was ready and waiting for him, he apologized for the delay and promised to be with her shortly. He accelerated so as not to miss one more addition to his customers’ list, he wondered who the lady that called was, she spoke so gently and this he liked already as he thought such person could barely get angry or sound angry whenever he couldn’t meet up with a pickup time, he hoped his cab service to her would be satisfactory. As he drives on getting closer to his customer’s hostel he was flagged by a lady wearing a shirt and pants, it took him a while to register the face as this lady was wearing too much makeup, her name was Chika and she use to be a final year student when he met her, he was her favorite cabman and had come on to him on several occasions, he hated to refuse her as he didn’t want ‘student trouble’, he thought he couldn’t afford to date a student as the demands were not yet in his priority list, the rented car he was using then required the care you give to a child, you couldn’t go too fast nor too slow with it otherwise it halted all by itself, Mr Benson who owned his previous cab was a junior lecturer in the university, Mr Benson was as stingy as he was a perfectionist, his blue painted car had better not be retuned with any dent on it at the ending of the week, Abdul was too glad to be introduced to a microfinance bank before that year ran out, he was able to acquire his own car by paying monthly arrears and start his own cab business afresh with the hope of acquiring more cars in the future for hire.

The Night At The Hotel. Episode V

Episode V

I had my eyes opened wide like they might pop out of their sockets in seconds, and beads of sweat had developed behind my back, “Whaaaat theeee fuuuuck was that?” I thought to myself like three times, the kids on the bed were much afraid, I bet these kids thought that they might get a heart-attack tonight; this was definitely not one of the junk they see on TV, I felt them holding my arms almost at the same time to pull themselves up to me but I quietly held them back saying “Shoooooooo” while trying to pay attention to the sounds coming from outside, I began hearing distant approaching footsteps like sounds from a woman’s shoe heels along with matching tiny tinkling sounds, it sounded like whoever was walking out there had some ankle bells on, I thought it was typical and predictable of the hotel to try this rubbish tactic to scare people, I relaxed and ignored the approaching footsteps, I laid between the two kids who were as scared as real shit, “Don’t bother about that sweeties, they’re just playing stupid games, trying to get us scared” I shrugged and said to them, forcing a little giggle but didn’t get the response I was hoping for, “Are you sure auntie?” the older one asked uncertainly, “Ofcourse………” I said to them and pulled them closer, the footsteps sounds stopped almost as I was assuring them that we were fine even though I knew they didn’t believe me, the loud ear-piercing cry came again and we all held our breaths at the same time, it sounded like the mixture of a screaming chicken, a buzzard and some pathetic possessed woman or child, we couldn’t move for some seconds and I slowly got up back to my kneeling position, the kids followed en-suite and I tried to quieten them down as they knelt in front of me on the bed burying their faces on my chest, if this hotel people wanted to rob us then I wouldn’t know why all these drama; I thought to myself foolishly or maybe I was wishing we got robbed instead of this fucking torture, I stretched my neck trying to peep out the window to see the assehole making the sounds, the footsteps began again and I heard some creepy husky voice saying inaudible things, I saw pale yellow lights approaching our side of the hotel at the same time, I shifted a blind and had my face pinned to the window trying impossibly to see the corners of the building the light and sounds were coming from, I was paying little attention to the kids by now even though they were giving me a chocking hug, I was hearing the footsteps but didn’t know howcome whoever it was was taking so long to get into my focus, I sighed and the footstep stopped again, the approaching lights had stopped moving but I could hear loud husky breathing now, I ached my eyebrows and decided to leave the window and stop straining my neck, I was about to relax my back when the scream came again but real close this time, I moved my head backwards and hid it behind the window-blind I had moved earlier, I could see the pale yellow lights now, reflecting into the room from outside the window, I didn’t remember where the cold breeze came in from because the window had a glass cover over it but there was some kind of wind movement in the room and the part of the wall that I was resting on got very cold, the kids moved slightly and I held them to be quiet, I began whispering “What the fuck, what the fuck, what the fuck” over and over again in my head and maybe some got out of my mouth because the two kids raised their heads to look at me simultaneously, I quietly moved away from the wall and now returning the chocking hug the kids were giving me, the little one sighed and I looked at him gently shaking my head for him not to make any sound, I saw that the kid had been crying, the little boy was trying really hard not to cry out as the tears flowed down his face, this broke my heart immediately, I was a great big chicken who couldn’t protect these kids, shame on me I should get shot in the head for this…. at-least in the morning though, the boy was practically swollen up in tears, if he could he would cry out real loud like he usually does, he had mucus now about to run down his nose and I knew he would have to sniff soon, I thought of quietly cleaning it up for him but even if I cleaned it up for him he would either have to blow it out or suck it in to make it stop for a while, the older one only looked more confused with the passing time, it’d be disaster if he decides to cry too, I placed my head on the window pane and shifted the blind to see what was lurking outside without getting caught while expecting his sob or sniff any minute, I saw that the pale yellow lights was coming from a lantern held by a dark boney hand, I would say that a thin dark flesh covered the boney arms I was staring at, the other hand held a tall walking stick or some dumbass staff but I couldn’t see a face yet, I gulped saliva, the temperature in the room dropped some more although the air had stopped moving, it felt like a gigantic air-conditioner had been turned on in an airtight room and I felt my goosebumps  about to tear up my clothes.

The Night At The Hotel. Episode IV (Part 2)

Part 2 of Episode IV

I instructed the help to get the kids ready to go home, the kids seemed to lighten up on hearing this, she took them both to the bathroom to freshen up and got them out shortly, I held the two kids by their hands and motioned for the maid to follow behind me, we walked briskly back to the car-park, although I pretty much hated to drive at night I knew this night would be an exception,  knew we could pass the night over and leave just when the sun was shining but I was too angry to consider it, I just wanted to leave the dumbass hotel of a joke with their stupid lighting and go home, I met the little group I had left outside earlier now quiet and watching the sky, they turned to our direction and seemed surprised when they figured that we were leaving, I was motioning for the kids to get into the car without the delay when I uttered a “What the?” on seeing that my left front tyre was totally flat, I turned with a sweeping look back at the group of employees behind me staring at them, one was already walking towards me, I think it was the barman, yes it turned out to be the barman when he got closer “Your tyre had been down since earlier this evening, we were trying to tell you the first time you came out, we weren’t sure when you were leaving, I’m sorry about this, is there anyway I can be of assistance ma’am?” he said to me, I was still speechless and wondering again what was going on, “Who did this to my tyre? We both know it was fine when I came out some minutes ago, so which one of you touched my car? Is this how you treat your customers around here?” I demanded. His eyes drooped and he apologized again, he said he had no idea about what happened to my tyre, he said they all thought that they might get it fixed for me by morning when they thought that I’d be leaving.

He looked back at his group and at me uncomfortably and said “Ma’am if I may say, I think its too late to leave tonight, strange things happen here as soon as the sun goes down, would you please come back into the hotel and I promise that I would personally get your car fixed at no cost first thing tomorrow morning” he said to me pleadingly.

“Well I don’t think its too late to drive, I don’t own me an extra tyre but I’m leaving this fucking place tonight…… and what strange shit were you talking about?” I asked him out of curiosity, he looked behind me like he was looking out for something, I turned back to check the kids seated in the car waiting for me then I resumed to him, “I can’t explain them, we make a protective circle around the building every-night to keep evil out, the employees here are responsible for our customers and I plead with you to come back into the hotel, there are strange and scary…..” he was saying and I cut him off just in time, I understand they’ve got some stupid scare tactics to keep this place selling but they can’t keep me here when I’d rather be at home than staying here foolishly waiting for some floating ghost of misery to come and give me lap-dance, “Its okay, you can save the bullshit, now would you please point me out to where I can find the nearest vulcanizing stand?” I replied rudely, he seemed pained by my response and shook his head at me, he said he didn’t know any that was close enough but there should be one on the right side of the T-junction although he was pretty sure the guy wouldn’t be there by now. I thanked him and went back into my car, he didn’t move quickly, I could see that he was worried but I wasn’t quite sure why, I locked the car immediately I got in and started my engine to test it and also its brakes, I saw that in coincidence to me starting up my car-engine there had been some kind of whirlwind blowing outside as I saw the barman ‘s cloths move in the wind and the others shielding their faces from something, he seemed distressed and he finally gave up and went back to his group, they all left for the interior of the hotel, I bent to look at the sky and it did looked calm and bright enough, the stars were out and the moon wasn’t left behind too, there looked like there was some partying up there. I moved the car a little to test the brakes and all seemed to be fine, I got out of the car to catch the resting whirlwind blow at my hair before it suddenly stopped and opened up the car bonnet to check if any other thing was amiss, I also bent underneath the car to catch any drop of oil or something but everything seemed to be intact except for the flat tyre, I looked closely at it to see where it must had leaked from and saw nothing, I checked my wristwatch and the time was already 8:45pm, I sighed and stood up.

The Night At The Hotel. Episode IV

Episode IV

I slowly opened my eyes from my unexplained siesta and held my head as the first wave of headache came, I shut my eyes to shut the ache out and shook my head slowly to clear my head ‘literarily’, I noticed that the bar had been closed or something had happened because the bar-lights had been turned low, I turned down to check my wrist for the time and I figured that I had been asleep for more than 3hours, ‘huh! 3hours?’ I thought out loud, how could I had been asleep for 3hours just sitting here and I wondered why nobody had tried to wake me up, I looked around to blame someone but the bar was very much empty, my drinks and cup were still in place untouched, another pain shot at my head again, I held my neck wondering what was going on, the lobby of the hotel had been lighted dimly and I found it hard to see enough to gain my balance, I staggered out of my seat and walked slowly to the restroom. The restroom still had its bright lights on and this almost blinded me that I had to support myself with the nearest sink quickly closing my eyes, the moron who turned down all the lights had forgotten about the ones in this restroom,

I put my right palm over my eyes and slowly opened them to allow the lights in gradually, I stared at myself in the mirror right in front of me wondering how terrible I was looking, I wasn’t looking pretty at all, I had lines of scars from where I had been sleeping and my lips looked swollen but apart from these I looked just ordinary although I felt like my eyes were about to fall out, I rinsed my face with the cold water from the tap and pattered my face with the loose part of my top, I looked at myself in the mirror and I knew how terrible I looked even though the mirror was telling my eyes lies or my intoxicated head was telling my mind lies, I held my forehead like my brain was about to fall out and I knew the next thing coming, I bent my head and puked all over the sink the meal I had had earlier today, I kicked myself when I inhaled a full doze of fish and bile and somewhat the culprit of everything- alcohol. I spat out the following saliva and watched the mess I made slowly flow down the sink, I had a feeling they might be needing a plumber soon, I stopped staring at the shit in the sink and went for another sink to clean up, I rinsed my face again being careful not to get pepper into my eyes.

I stood up straight and held my neck rubbing it then I held the sink again shaking my head when it occurred to me that my folks would had probably been looking for me but I wondered how-come they hadn’t been looking for me earlier, I mean I wasn’t that hard to find because I remembered telling them where I was heading to while they were busy talking with mum, and the bar was very visible once you get into the lobby of the hotel, I mean would they talk for over 3hours and forget that I was supposed to be with them or what exactly is going on here, if they had looked for me earlier I would had napped on a proper bed and not on a stupid bar table, I thought angrily to myself, I pushed out the stupid break-up memory when it tried to crawl back in with its broken legs, I didn’t remember if I had come into the restroom with my purse and I became awake immediately, I had a feeling I might had been robbed while I had been asleep and hurried back out into the lobby looking alarmed, I found my purse and mobile phone on the bar table just staring at me probably the same way I had left it, I grabbed them both leaving the drinks on the table, there was nobody in sight for me to question so I went back to the room-suite, I checked the contents of my purse as I walked through the dim-lit passageway back to the room, I knocked softly on the door and prepared myself for all the questions of the whole world that I was sure my siblings were going to query me with, I got no response and knocked again putting my ears to the door to listen to any sound from the room, I found out that the door was ajar and pushed it in, the room was dark and empty.

The Night At The Hotel. Episode III

               Episode III

I rested my hands on my hips while taking a walk back to the T-junction I had driven in through, I checked both sides of the roads by stretching my neck so that I don’t stand out on themain-road, I wouldn’t wanna get hit by a car you know- even though very few cars passed by, nothing out of the ordinary, the road was a little bit dusty and the next neighbor to the hotel was an abandoned gated building with a ‘FOR SALE’ board hanging to the rusty gates, the building wasn’t so visible but you only needed to stretch a little to see it, weeds were all over the place and it looked like it might had been glorious in its time when it was properly owned, there was no more houses to see after that but fenced and probably empty lands, the one-sided sidewalk was wide and filled with mud-dusts, I was already getting bored with the view so I left for the hotel, I walked back casually to the hotel still looking and not particularly sure of what I was looking for, maybe a flashing light, a floating ghost or something weird peeping out from a window or a crazy woman trying to gnaw at me and screaming “Beware! Beware!!” but nothing of such happened, I noticed as I walked past my car that two of my siblings car had been packed ahead of mine, I wasn’t sure they were there earlier, the car I saw earlier was totally different and I knew their cars wherever I saw them, I guessed they had moved the cars there while I was busy surveying earlier, I shrugged and went for the entrance to the building, the door to the lobby of the hotel was opened for me by the security manning the door, he greeted me and I said “hello”.  I looked around and saw that enough normal activities were going on in the small hotel with no zombies roaming about the floor, I shook my head and wondered what was so hunted about it, turning to my right I saw the mini bar and walked towards it hoping the bars weren’t more than one, I took out my phone to call my eldest sister but the service icon now read ‘insufficient’ I still went ahead and called her number and as expected the call failed, I hadn’t notice the mobile network disappearing earlier because I had called her in my car and she had received my call, I walked closer to the bar trying to find my sister, only two people sat at the bar drinking and talking to each other, I took a seat and ordered a coke to refresh myself, I was planning to go back and ask the receptionist for the room direction when I felt sharp fingers poke me on my sides and I heard myself scream really loud.

The Night At The Hotel. Episode VI (The Conclusion)

Episode VI
There was no knocking coming in from anywhere, I saw bright lights all around, everywhere was spotlessly white, I think I could see my dad waving at me or something, I waved back at him, he stretched his hand and I stretched mine to touch his but he wasn’t as close to me as he appeared to, he whispered that I should try to get up from my seat with a loving smile and I smiled back, I heard him whisper that he had missed his favorite daughter and I said that I had missed him too, I was trying to get up from my seat to meet with my dad but was having a little difficulty doing that, I hadn’t been a good girl lately so if I was in heaven then I would be surprised, not that I had hoped my dad wouldn’t go to heaven, no kid thought of such but I couldn’t just get up, “You have to get up, you have to, close your eyes and open it again” he whispered to me still giving me that sweet smile, I smiled and shut my eyes, I tried to lift my body from my seat before opening them again, I still couldn’t, I opened my eyes and my dad was gone now, I blinked twice to get my focus right, I wonder where he went to just now and why he left,
